NEW MEMBER INFORMATION CHILDREN'S LESSONS To fulfill our goal of providing your child with the best instruction possible, please review these details. Membership Fee There is a one time $25 membership fee per child, upon registration for their first class.  This will include a FLOW Aquatics Drawstring backpack to keep track of all their swimming attire and a Swimming Passport to track your child's progress in lessons. Information Needed to Register Child To register your child for a class, please provide the following information when contacting the FLOW Aquatics office.  This information will allow us to quickly  locate an available class: 1)  Age of the child 2)  Skill level (please provide answer closest to the skill level of your child):  Has child ever had lessons before? Is child comfortable putting face in the water? Can child float on front and or back? Can child roll from front to back? Can child propel themselves through the water by pulling and kicking? Can child jump in and swim back to wall? Has child started to learn the front crawl? Has your child been introduced to the other strokes (backstroke, butterfly, breaststroke)? 3) Days and times that work for your schedule*: Would you like mornings (between 9:30am - 11:30am) or evenings (between 4:00pm - 7:30pm)**.  What days work best Monday - Thursday.  *  For our scheduling purposes we ask for at least two options on days and times.  We cannot guarantee you will get your choices, but we will work to get you one as close as possible to your options.  **  Morning classes are currently only held at FLOW Swim Studio in Meridian.  We are in the process of building up a morning lesson schedule at Boise Water Sports for the Fall.  Evening classes are at both Boise Water Sports in Boise and FLOW Swim Studio in Meridian. 4)  Location preference:  FLOW Swim Studio in Meridian or Boise Water Sports in Boise. Please book your lessons through our FLOW Aquatics office by: Calling (208) 855-2212, E-mail: askus@FLOWAquatics.com, On-line: by visiting our registration site. (This does not actually book a class for your children, it will provide us information to see what classes are available).  However, please call or e-mail before you register. If we we have a class available at your child's level we will call or e-mail you with your class time confirmation.  If we do not have a class available we will put your child on a waiting list and work on getting them into a class as soon as one becomes available or in an upcoming session.  Registration Guidelines The process is SIMPLE and on-going. Once you are registered for a class, that slot is yours until you notify the office that you will not be continuing.  If there are changes in our programming schedule that would prevent you from continuing the same day/time period, you will be given an opportunity to change your slot before we offer those opening to other families. You may register for classes anytime during the year depending on openings. If we have a class available, you can register and begin immediately.    If you register mid-session your fees will be pro-rated. Lessons must be booked in advance and are to be pre-paid before lessons begin. We accept checks, cash or you can pay by credit card (Visa/Mastercard) or bank draft on-line. You must contact the FLOW Aquatics office to register for classesAll registrations will be taken by phone (soon to be on-line). You will be notified by e-mail of your confirmation. SESSION FEES: Group Lessons: $12 per lesson ( ½ hour lessons; 4:1 student/instructor ratio) *sessions vary in length from 8 weeks to 13 weeks pending the time of year.  Please see Children's Schedule to see length of session) FAMILY DISCOUNTS: We offer a family discount if 2 or more students register for the same session from the same family. You receive 5% off the second child and 10% off the third. If a family has 4 or more children registered, there is a 10% discount off all children.
